IT & Network Officer

Responsibilities:

1. IT & Network Officer will proactively identify changes required to ICT network, telecommunications, and network security systems
2. Ensure that installation, integration, testing and maintenance of ICT network, telecommunications, and network
3. Ensuring security systems, IT asset management and configuration
4. Liaise with line management for Service Delivery teams and Service Desk to ensure all changes are communicated and understood by colleagues and staff.
5. Other day to day duties assigned by management

Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or master’s in related field as well.
2. Professional experience of 2 years in IT and networking roles, with the required number of years varying based on the level of the position.
3. Familiarity with network administration, troubleshooting, and security protocols.
4. Experience in system administration for servers and other IT infrastructure components.Knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows Server, Linux, or Unix.
5. Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues, end-users, and external vendors.
6. Flexibility to adapt to changes in technology and industry best practices.
