Responsibilities:

  1. Well versed with management procedures of Govt. funding, and various guidelines.
  2. Manage all accounting processes, managing the expenses, reconciliation of all funds (timely renewal, provision of interest accrued, certificates etc.).
  3. Preparation of Financial statement, and monthly reports
  4. Ensuring timely completion of Internal and External audit
  5. Auditing of funds, furnishing of utilization certificates, statement of receipt and expenditure.
  6. Preparation and furnishing of management information reports as per requirement. Providing assistance in finalization and audit of books of account.
  7. Financial planning and management of funds.

Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

  1. Liaison with the stakeholders and ensure completion of financial matters and assigned tasks.
  2. Maintenance of all documents/ records/ files related to funds, expenditures, donations etc. and preparing the best practices and SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance and compliance management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Peachtree, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of financial planning and management tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Government funding procedures and compliance guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and presenting financial reports.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and manage audits efficiently.
  • Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement best practices and SOPs for financial management.
